Storybook Park

October 6, 2018 see childrens' books come alive as you take a walk through "Storybook Park!" at the Barnesville Memorial Park, come and share this special time with your children and grandchildren -- this is a program for all ages!

Featured Books
The character's inside of specially selected books will be brought to life for participants through large illustrations featured at each story's station. Each station has a featured craft to go along with the story.  One book is a sing along.  The decorations are done by the inmates of the Belmont Correctional Center. The library partners with community organizations, various high school clubs and many individuals to run the activities.

Other Activities
Include costumed characters, clowns and face painters to entertain everyone throughout the park. The Storybook Park mascot, the "Very Hungry Caterpillar," will also be in place for children to walk through.
